Papua New Guinea UV gravure printing sand oil

This ink is a special ink used in the printing industry, belonging to the UV ink series. It is composed of polymeric prepolymers, photosensitive monomers, photoinitiators, and auxiliary components (including leveling agents, polymerization inhibitors, etc.), and is suitable for gravure printing, especially on gold, silver cardboard or other paper plastic composite materials with strong mirror effects. UV gravure printing sand oil has been widely used in high-end packaging and printing fields, such as cigarette packaging, wine packaging, cosmetics packaging, etc., due to its unique sand like effect.

Product Description

1、 Overview
This ink is a special ink used in the printing industry, belonging to the UV ink series. It is composed of polymeric prepolymers, photosensitive monomers, photoinitiators, and auxiliary components (including leveling agents, polymerization inhibitors, etc.), and is suitable for gravure printing, especially on gold, silver cardboard or other paper plastic composite materials with strong mirror effects. UV gravure printing sand oil has been widely used in high-end packaging and printing fields, such as cigarette packaging, wine packaging, cosmetics packaging, etc., due to its unique sand like effect.

2、 Purpose

1. Can be printed on gold and silver cardboard, laser transfer paper, PET, PVC, and corona treated PP sheets.
2. Can be used for cigarette label printing.

3、 Precautions

1. When applying UG gravure printing sand oil on plastic film and other materials, it is necessary to ensure that the surface tension of the film is appropriate to avoid the detachment of the glossy layer. At the same time, ensure that the ink is completely dry, especially if water-based ink is used for printing, to prevent residual solvents inside the ink, which may cause the UG gravure sand layer to peel off in subsequent processes.
2. Due to the fast speed of the rotary gravure printing machine, the poor flowability of UG gravure sand oil may result in uneven gloss oil, leading to low brightness, dot like or wavy UG gravure sand oil layers. The main factors affecting leveling include the mesh size of the mesh roller, the viscosity and temperature of the UG gravure printing sand oil, etc.
The heat generated during UV lamp irradiation may cause deformation or dehydration of the substrate. To reduce this situation, efficient UV lamps can be used, insulation glass can be added between the UV lamp and the substrate, the number of UV lamps can be reduced, and the power of each UV lamp can be increased.
4. Ensure that the UV lamp has sufficient UV light intensity, which is crucial for the curing process of UV ink.
5. Adjust the ink dosage and color sequence according to the characteristics of UV ink to maintain ink balance.
5. In some cases, it is best to use water-based base oil as a primer before UV polishing treatment.
